Observations: Canal line thro’ town almost completely built over or turned to other purpose. Part of Bridge parapet at Forest road junction cd be seen (17.5.65); Wharf House is at A365 crossing, road is humpy here, but wharf area must be now overbuilt; was situated S side of Devizes Road adjacent to
Bridge.
