An Ordnance survey map from 1885 shows a large building adjacent to a marked Saw Pit, it's likely this building is a Carpenters workshop, this is supported with a documented record of stone and roofing being purchased for a workshop at this location between 1830-31.

It was decided rebuild a Carpenters Workshop on the original site to an approximate size.

The re-build is in progress and is at an advanced stage.
