6. Buildings; This section v. good in that respect. Lock houses at Chaddington, Dunnington, 7-locks, (possible) Foxham. Wharf houses and/or buildings at Vastern (for W. Basst), Dauntsey, (possibly) Foxham.
7. Remarks. Tockenham Reservoir (N.V.) seems to have had a retaining dam at one end. Although feeding below summit pound, it was probably meant to help with the heavy ...
